Number of participants
The booking is made for a certain number of participants and we adapt our bookings according to it.
The riding tour will be charged according to the number of participants mentioned on the booking. In case of fewer participants, invoicing can be adapted to the right number of participants if we get to know the new number at least 24 hours in advance for a short ride or 30 days in advance for a long ride. In case of more participants, invoicing will be adapted automatically.
Booking and cancellation for short rides (from 1 hour to 1 day)
Please contact us by phone or email to check availability for the date and time of your choice and for the booking. For bookings at short notice (departure less than 48 hours) please call us. We’ll contact you by email or phone to confirm your desired time and date of departure or suggest alternatives. We might ask you for a credit card number as insurance of payment.
Up to 24 hours prior to departure, you can cancel your short riding tour free of charge. If you cancel within 24 hours, full charges apply.
Booking and cancellation for long rides (2 days or more)
Please contact us by phone or email to check availability for the date and time of your choice and for the booking.
Once you have decided to participate in the tour and we have agreed on the details, you are kindly asked to secure your booking by making a down payment of 20% to reserve your place in the tour. The balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the agreed departure. Please make sure your payments are made directly in SEK.
Horses of Taiga reserve the right to alter tours and itineraries due to weather or road conditions. All programs can be changed or cancelled at any moment during the trip to assure the safety of the clients and staff. In case of cancellation from us, you will be refunded the cost that you have already paid.
In case of cancellation from you, the 20% confirmation fee will be fully kept as cancellation fee if the tour is cancelled within 30 days before departure. If cancelled between 15 and 30 days before departure, 50% of the total price of the tour will be kept. If cancelled less than 15 days before departure of the tour, no repayment will be made.
Horses of Taiga reserves the right to alter: routes; itineraries; or timetables without prior notice, should the necessity arise. We reserve the right to cancel the tour or exclude individual riders if we deem it in the person’s or group’s best interest. No liability is accepted for loss or expenses due to delays or changes of arrival or departures of flights or other services, injury, sickness, accident, strikes, damage, negligence, weather, wars or other causes outside our control. All such losses and expenses are the personal liability of the traveler. The estimated duration of tours as indicated by km or timing can change according to road or weather conditions.
Horses of Taiga contracted a professional insurance. Nevertheless, we recommend all our clients to have travel insurance.
Our installations and activities are not adapted to disabled persons. Please contact us in advance so we can discuss the possible solutions.
The following activities are provided by professional partners: visit to the reindeer farm, dogsledding and dog hiking. We choose our partners carefully and can garanty the quality of their work.
Please note that for our horses’ comfort, the weigh limit is 95 kg.
